Alternative to Film / Hygiene

The .GLASMA - coating is.. no foil.. and ..no paint..!

Advantages of the . GLASMA - coating system over decorative films :

Extreme thinness: ca. 15-25 µ ( a quarter the thickness of film )
GLASMA - coatings cannot be removed by scratching with a fingernail
and they will not be rejected by the glass .
Due to the production process, many types of glass have coated surfaces. This is not visible to the naked eye !
But after some time, decorative films will often start to peel from the edges !

GLASMA. is resistant even to extreme ..changes of temperature ..as well as ..strong exposure to light^.

• non-yellowing, colours stay brilliant, colourfast, no bleaching
• no way in for dirt or humidity
• increased demands on  hygiene  e.g. in food processing or  hospital areas  are fulfilled
..since .GLASMA .can very easily be disinfected and is resistant to disinfectants

This hase been tested and certified by the Institute of Hygiene ( Gelsenkirchen )
on the basis of the DGHM testing procedure 14 ( surface disinfection ) .

The “Expert Commission on hygiene safety standards for medical technical products and processes” of the
German Society of Hospital Hygiene ( DGKH ) has evaluated the GLASMA coating system especially for use
in health institutions such as

Hospitals, rehabilitation centres, nursing homes for the elderly etc.

The risk assessment for the GLASMA coating system as an alternative to

etching, sandblasting and transparent decorative film

was carried out in adherence to the recommendations of the “Commission for hospital hygiene and infection
prevention” at the Robert Koch Institute, Berlin ( Bundesgesundheitsblatt 2004, 47:51-61 ).
The GLASMA coating system was awarded the official certificate of approval.

the Ruhr and the German Society of Hospital Hygiene ( DGKH ).

NOTE : Glass surfaces with decorative film , etched or sandblasted glass surfaces
..............cannot be disinfected .without leaving a bacterial residue !

GLASMA - coatings are easily cleaned, even in the case of the most intricate motifs .
Moisture and dirt will not penetrate..GLASMA ..coated .surfaces in the cleaning process .
Last not least..GLASMA .is environment.-.friendly since no solvents are emitted .
